This Tullibardine was given the opportunity to mature for 12 months in Château de Chassagne Montrachet Red Burgundy barrels of 228 litres. This is where the magnificent ruby red colour developed.

The Distillery: Tullibardine
Tullibardine is actually not the oldest Scottish Distillery but regarding the first step of the Whisky production it is one of the Methuselahs of the business: The visit of King James 4th of Scotland of the local brewery situated here before is known as the first recorded purchase of Beer. That was in 1488, long before in 1949 the first spirit was distilled here at Tullibardine in Perthshire.

Kommentar: Ein toller Wisky, mit dem erstmal bisschen warm werden musste, ihn jetzt aber nicht mehr missen möchte.

Kommentar: Ein guter, leckerer Whisky mit tollen PLV. Hatte vor kurzem auch vergleichsweise den Zinfandel Finish im Glas, aber der Burgundy hat mich mehr überzeugt und das für den Preis !
