Aberfeldy continues the Red Wine Cask Finish series with this limited edition. The Aberfeldy distillery is known for its sweet and mild whiskies. The 18-year-old was first matured in refilled and reconditioned bourbon casks and then received a 15-month finish in Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks from the world-famous wine-growing region of Napa Valley, USA. This finish gives it more complexity and brings out the fruity-spicy sweetness of the Aberfeldy even more.
