Please understand that if you choose a method of payment that involves a risk for Whisky.de, we may subsequently request a different method of payment. In such cases, we will contact you by e-mail and find a quick and uncomplicated solution. Furthermore, we reserve the right to limit the payment methods in advance in the case of whisky rarities, date orders, very limited bottlings and high purchase amounts.

 

Details and Conditions for the payment methods we offer are as follows:

iDeal

When paying by iDEAL, you use your bank's usual online banking environment. You can find more information at ideal.nl. We already receive your order in status "paid", which means we can dispatch your delivery immediately.

Apple Pay / G Pay (Google Pay)

In case of payment via Apple Pay / G Pay, the purchase price will be debited to your Apple Pay account, G Pay account respectively, at checkout . In order to use these payment methods you need to hold an  account accordingly, and within this account provide a valid means of payment (e.g. your credit card). Furthermore, using an Apple device is a prerequisite for using Apple Pay. In case further information is needed please check directly with the provider.

Via SEPA-Lastschrift

Pay comfortably via SEPA-Lastschrift from your second order onwards, given a positive credit assessment. In this case, the amount is collected from your bank account after the shipment of your order.

Please refrain from making a return debit note in the case of allegedly incorrect debits and contact us first so that we can clarify the situation. This may save you and us unnecessary costs. Thank you very much!

PayPal

You can choose PayPal as payment method. In this case you will be redirected to the PayPal login page where you can authorize the payment and thus conclude your order. 

PayPal Express ("Direkt zu PayPal")

You can pay via PayPal Express at Whisky.de by clicking on "Direkt zu PayPal" in which case you will be redirected to the PayPal login page where you can authorize the payment. Subsequently, your data will be passed on to Whisky.de for processing the order and you can complete the order without registration. Optionally, you can create a Whisky.de customer account on the order completion page by entering your password.

Credit card (VISA / MasterCard)

Pay for your Whisky.de order conveniently with your credit card. We accept VISA and MasterCard. When placing your order, the amount is reserved on your credit card and collected once your order has been dispatched.

In order to ensure maximum security and to strengthen trust, we use the so-called 3D-Secure security procedure. This is called "Verified by VISA" for VISA or "MasterCard SecureCode" for MasterCard. During the payment process, an input window of your respective local bank will be opened, in which you have to enter your personal authentication code in order to verify your cardholder data and to release the payment.

We always apply the latest encription and security technologies for your input data, its transmission and processing.

GiroPay (online bank transfer)

Use giropay to pay quickly and securely via your bank's online banking system. To do so, you need your online access data from your bank and, if necessary, a TAN. You can find more information on the GiroPay website. As your order is then already marked as paid when submitted to us we are able to dispatch your delivery immediately.

Advance Payment

When choosing payment in advance, we will provide you with our bank details in the order confirmation, sent to you directly via email after placing your order. Please follow the instructions contained therein for payment of the invoice amount to the account details provided by us. Please provide your order number in the "reason for payment" field or in the "payment reference" field when making the transfer - this is the only way we can quickly allocate your payment and deliver your order as quickly as possible.

The invoice amount is to be transferred to our account within 10 days after receipt of the order confirmation. We ask for your understanding that we will cancel orders without receipt of payment after the deadline has expired in order to be able to offer the goods to other customers.
