Product description
This Arran Single Malt was allowed to mature in a Sauternes sweet wine cask after its maturation in an ex-bourbon cask and thus acquires its golden colour and wonderfully sweet Taste. Only the best casks are selected at the Arran distillery for the wine finish series. The Port Finish and Sauternes Finish bottlings now belong to the so-called Core Range.

The Distillery:

The Lochranza distillery is located on the Isle of Arran, after which it was initially named. In 2019, Lagg, the second distillery on the island, opened. As a result, Arran renamed itself Lochranza to better distinguish it. However, the Single Malt Whisky is still available under the Arran brand. read more

    Kommentar: der braucht etwas Zeit, die sollte man ihm gönnen. Dann belohnt er mit einem Frucht-Cocktail in Nase und Mund. Insgesamt aus meiner Sicht der Schwächste der drei Finish-Arrans.
