Glen Scotia Campbeltown Harbour
Aroma: A combination of maritime and floral notes with vanilla.
Flavour: Soft peach, green apple, caramel and custard.
Finish: Medium length, maritime with gentle peat smoke.
Cask type: First fill bourbon casks.
Glen Scotia Double Cask
Flavour: Very sweet with caramel, toffee, fudge and candied fruit. Then apples, peaches and becoming a little drier.
Flavour: Sweet and full with a dry distillery character. A hint of mint.
Finish: Deep and dark.
Cask type: Finish in PX sherry casks.
Glen Scotia 10 Year Old Unpeated
Aroma: Maritime notes, apples and lemon peel as well as toasted oak.
Flavour: Soft and syrupy with brown sugar, orange marmalade and fresh pineapple. With creamy vanilla and oak.
Finish: Long with a hint of ginger and cinnamon
Cask type: First fill bourbon casks
Glen Scotia Double Cask Rum Finish 2022
Aroma: Hints of cooked sugar, plus maritime notes and tropical fruit accents.
Taste: Rich and exotic with sweet facets of boiled sugar and molasses meet notes of coconut, banana and sweet peach.
Finish: Warming spices and maritime notes linger.
Cask type: 1st fill American white oak barrels, finish in Demerara rum barrels.

Product description
Glen Scotia is one of three still-active distilleries in Campbeltown. There was a time when over 30 distilleries operated in the tiny town. However, Campbeltown is also the region that has been most affected by the ups and downs of the whisky market. The Galbraith family founded the distillery in 1832, using slightly smoky malt and traditional copper stills to create the fruit and spice flavours typical of Glen Scotia.
The live tasting will take place on 14.04.2023 from 18:00 in English on Whisky.com/LIVE or the Whisky.com YouTube channel. Master Taster Ben Lüning welcomes Master Distiller Iain McAlister from Glen Scotia. Both will taste a total of four of the popular Glen Scotia whiskies in the live stream and tell exciting information about the distillery and the selected bottlings. Afterwards, from 19:00, Benedikt and Horst Lüning will taste these great bottlings in German at Whisky.de/LIVE or the Whisky.de YouTube channel.
