The Aberlour Double Cask is partly aged in traditional oak and sherry casks. After maturing, the malts were blended together. This gives this Aberlour its distinctive fruitiness.

In 1879 the distillery was built near the Lour stream by James Fleming. During his time the Aberlour distillery was the most modern distillery at the time. read more

Keine Ecken und Kanten. Sehr süffig! Perfekt für Anfänger. Schmeckt wegen seiner Komplexität aber auch Erfahrenen Whisky-Genießern

Geschmack: Süffig, leicht würzig, sanft, dunkle Früchte

Abgang: Wärmend und scharf

Kommentar: An diesem Whisky ist bis zum Herunterschlucken für mich nichts auszusetzen. Der scharfe Nachgeschmack macht die vorherige Harmonie für mich leider kaputt. Einer der seltenen Whiskys, den ich mehr als großzügig ausgeschenkt habe.
