Glen Garioch was founded as early as 1797, making it one of Scotland's oldest distilleries. It is located in the Eastern Highlands of Scotland, in the protected Garioch Valley in Old Meldrum. With its unique location between Speyside and the east coast, Glen Garioch has been making whiskies for over 200 years.

Kommentar: Wirklich guter Whisky. Ich habe ihn mir gekauft, weil ich den 15-jährigen LIEBE. Dieser ist nicht auf diesem Level, aber wirklich gut. Das Vatting ist gut, Vanille und Karamell von den Bourbon-Fässern kommen gut durch. Aber auch der Sherry Einfluss ich gut erkennbar mit Nüssen, Gewürzen und dunkler Schokolade. Die Eiche ist kräftig, aber nicht übermäßig. Der Abgang ist lang, bleibt lange im Mund.
