The Glen Garioch single malt whisky from the Scottish distillery founded in 1797 matured for 12 years in bourbon and sherry casks. The distillery is located in the eastern Highlands of Scotland, in the protected Garioch Valley in Old Meldrum. With its unique location between Speyside and the east coast, Glen Garioch has been producing whiskies for over 200 years.

Kommentar: war mir von früher nicht so positiv in Erinnerung, aber möglicherweise war ich vor ein paar Jahren einfach noch nicht bereit für diesen Malt. Der Farbstoff ist ein leichter Wermutstropfen im positiven Gesamteindruck.
