Product description
This 13-year-old Single Malt was matured in Armagnac casks from the Bas-Armagnac region. Original bottlings from the Craigellachie distillery have also been available again since 2014. In addition to the 13-year-old, a 17-year-old and a 23-year-old malt are also available. The distillery continues to use traditional worm tubs to cool the distillate. They give the whisky a special flavour.

In the heart of the Speyside near the little town of Craigellachie/Banffshire lies a distillery that was founded in 1891 at the peak of the Whisky boom and survived until today. Craigellachie Distillery is situated on a hill and overlooks the town.The difficult Gaelic name means “Rocky Hill” and is pronounced Krai-GELLacky. read more

Kommentar: Lecker leichter Whisky, erinnert im Aroma an Tropifrutti. Der Geschmack ist fruchtig, in Richtung Ananas aber auch mit einer gewissen Würze. Im Abgang eher kurz und
würzig, was aber relativ schnell verfliegt.
Ein schöner allday zu einem fairen Preis.
