Product description
Bruichladdich started 'The Organic' project back in 2003, and since then the distillery has been releasing whiskies that are as natural as possible. The barley for The Organic 2011 comes from Mid Coul Farm near Inverness. The cultivation is based on natural fertilisation, the avoidance of monocultures and cycle cultivation. The barley is not dried over peat fires. After distillation, the malt is matured in first-fill American oak bourbon casks.

Kommentar: Habe diesen direkt auf Islay in der Distille probiert. Habe dann zuhause angerufen und meinen bekannten gesagt das sich jeder so ne Flasche holen soll, sobald verfügbar. Grandioser Geschmack und gleichzeitig "gut" für die Umwelt und sich selbst! Dieser schmeckt (mir) ein klein wenig besser als der aus 2010. Kann ihn wärmstens an geübte Whisky liebhaber empfehlen, jedoch ist er etwas scharf und nichts für Anfänger!
