Product description

The 15-year-old Glen Grant is matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks and is bottled at 50% batch strength.

Major' James Grant Junior inherited the Glen Grant distillery from his father in 1872 and had big plans for it. At the age of 25, enthusiastic about the subject of technology, he specially designed new, tall and narrow stills and the then unique water coolers and filters.

Aroma: fruchtig, ziemlich komplex, Marzipan, Früchte (eher gemischt), später bisschen Zitrus

Geschmack: kräftig, würzig, Nuss, Fass auf den zweiten Schluck (und mit n bisschen Wasser), fruchtiger Fruchtkompott

Abgang: fruchtiger, wieder komplexer, länger als gedacht

Kommentar: ein Schuss Wasser tut gut, ganz interessant, nicht schlecht, nicht super

Kommentar: Klassisch gereifter Whisky. Ohne Schnickschnack. First Fill Bourbon, 15 Jahre und 50% sind eine sehr gute Kombi. Der Preis stimmt auch.
