Aroma: Light and fruity with oak, vanilla, lemon and pear. Hints of mint and aniseed.
Taste: Fruity and slightly spicy with a youthful freshness, citrus and pear. Again some vanilla and oak.
Finish: Medium length.
Cask type: American oak casks
Mackmyra Bruks
Aroma: Fresh, subtle citrus notes with pear and crisp, green apples followed by a delicate spiciness.
Taste: Toffee with spices such as aniseed, ginger and sweet almonds - almost like marzipan. A fine note of peat smoke is combined with a light, peppery spiciness.
Finish: Fresh and clear.
Cask type: First fill Bourbon, finish in sherry casks and Swedish oak casks
Mackmyra Svensk Ek
Aroma: Fruity and slightly sweet with oak, honey and toffee. Also pear, apple and citrus fruits with some toasted bread.
Taste: Again fruity notes of citrus. Elegant with the sweetness of caramel and honey.
Finish: Pleasant and round with some chocolate.
Cask type: First fill Bourbon casks and finish in Swedish oak casks, ex-Bourbon and sherry casks
Mackmyra Svensk Rök
Aroma: Slightly smoky and spicy with notes of juniper and vanilla caramel.
Taste: Smoky and slightly salty with oak. Juniper, aniseed and green fruits with a hint of tobacco leaves and spices.
Finish: Dry, smoky and salty with oak and herbs.
