This Croftengea from the Loch Lomond distillery belongs to the Cask Craft series of the independent bottler Murray McDavid. The special single casks are bottled uncoloured and unfiltered and are therefore ideal collector's items. The Croftengea was given a double finish in one port and one Madeira barrel each. The slightly peated Single Malt becomes a tropical-fruity combination with mild smoky notes through the post-maturation in the liqueur wine casks.

Loch Lomond is located in the Scottish town of Alexandria, directly on the lake of the same name. Hardly any other distillery in Scotland deserves the title 'unique' as much as Loch Lomond. The distillery has not only pot stills, but also Coffey and Column stills. This allows the production of many different types of Whisky.

Kommentar: Auf diesen Abfüller bin ich durch ein Utube-Video gekommen, in der Flaschen von Murray McDavid gelobt wurden. Er produziert Whiskys, die man nicht nur am “evening” trinken möchte.
Geschmack: Etwas Rauch, Speck, Süße, Sherryaromen und Früchte getragen von 44,5% Alkohol, das gibt ein nachhaltiges Geschmackserlebnis!
