Morris Distillery, based in Rutherglen, Victoria, Australia, has been producing fortified wines since 1859 and utilises its extensive experience coupled with craftsmanship and a dose of curiosity for its single malt whiskies. The family business relies on 100% Australian barley malt. After distillation in a reconditioned copper Pot Still from the 1930s, the creations are first matured in American and French wine barrels from family-run wineries in the Barossa and Coonawarra. The whiskies are finished in the company's own casks. The Morris Signature was finished in the distillery's sweet wine casks, which are known for their fruitiness.
