Ballechin is the smoky bottling range of the Edradour distillery and was named after a farmhouse distillery that has since closed. First-fill bourbon casks and second-fill oloroso sherry casks were blended together for the vatting.

Kommentar: Gute Abfüllung. Für meinen Geschmack wäre sie allerdings noch deutlich besser, wenn der Bourbon-Lagerungsanteil/Beimischungsanteil geringer wäre, sticht mir persönlich doch ein wenig zu arg vor.

Kommentar: Geheimtipp, sehr lecker! Nicht ganz so mächtig wie etwa ein Lagavulin, aber schon einer für die Peatfans!
