Talisker Port Ruighe is a tribute to the Scottish merchants of the 19th century who brought port wine from Portugal by ship. In the early days of the distillery, Talisker malts were matured in port casks.

The Talisker Distillery is one of Scotland's best-known distilleries and is spectacularly located on the shores of Loch Harport on the Isle of Skye. Until 2017, it was the only distillery on the island and represents the rugged character of the coast with every drop. As part of the Classic Malts of Scotland, Talisker has achieved worldwide fame. Kommentar: Er duftet frisch, nach Rauch und einer Meeresbrise. Auf der Zunge gesellen sich Gewürze zum Rauch, dazu ein wenig Eiche. Im Abgang rauchig mit Malz.

Ein angenehm "schwerer" Whisky, dessen Rauch gut mit den Portweinaromen harmoniert. Für Talisker- und Rauchfans eine klare Empfehlung.
