Type Single Malt Whisky
Aroma Intense with heather, sultanas, pears and orange peel. Stone fruits in combination with mixed spices and rich peat smoke.
Taste Ripe plums, red cherries and a hint of citrus, followed by intense peat smoke, caramel sweets, oak and dark chocolate.
Finish Mouth-filling and fruity with caramel, cinnamon and clove. Plus brown sugar, spices, peat smoke and a lingering sweetness.

Product description
Kilchoman Sanaig is named after the bay Sanaigmore on the island of Islay. Originally, the first limited bottling of Sanaig consisted of bourbon casks and a portion of sherry casks. Now the cask composition has been changed somewhat and the majority of the Single Malt matures in sherry casks, mainly Oloroso.

After more than 125 years, the Kilchoman farm distillery is the first new distillery to be built on the island of Islay. At the distillery, which was founded in 2005 and produces a 100 per cent Islay Single Malt, all production steps are carried out on site, from the cultivation of the barley to the filling of the bottles. read more
