Aroma Piquant notes of sea air and beach algae, plus hints of sweet malt and sultanas.
Taste Oily and soft with smoky and slightly salty facets, followed by a woody spiciness. Accents of sweet dates, peat smoke and sea salt follow.
Finish Long lasting, sweet and with dry nuances of peat smoke and cocoa.
Region Islands
Maturation American and European oak casks, finished in Amoroso sherry casks, finished in heavily re-charred American white oak casks.

This Talisker belongs to the Distillers Edition of the Classic Malts of Scotland. The Single Malt matured for at least three months in Amoroso Seasoned American Oak Casks. The smoky, spicy and sometimes pungent character of the distillery is wonderfully complemented by sweetness and complexity.

The Talisker Distillery is one of Scotland's best-known distilleries and is spectacularly located on the shores of Loch Harport on the Isle of Skye. Until 2017, it was the only distillery on the island and represents the rugged character of the coast with every drop. As part of the Classic Malts of Scotland, Talisker has achieved worldwide fame.     Kommentar: Habe den das erste mal in Schottland 2023 probiert und er überzeugt mich nach drei Jahren noch genau so wie damals. Hervorragend ausgewogen, süffig und angenehm im Abgang. Wirklich einer meiner Lieblinge.

    Geschmack: süß, sanft rauchig, cremig, Sherry, Pflaumen

    Abgang: lang, wieder der sanfte Rauch, Kakaonoten, fruchtig, im Abgang pfeffrig

    Kommentar: Talisker macht nun mal guten Whisky.
