Abgang: Sweet Herb Dark Chocolate

Verkostung:

Nase zunächst alkohollastig, restliche Aromen sehr verhalten, kräutrig-erdige Note, überraschend wenig Rauch, betont Erde und Kräuter, leichte frische zitrusartige Note vollendet die Nase.

Am Gaumen voluminös, torfig/erdig, kräftig, Dunkelfruchtigkeit tritt für einen Moment auf, der Alkohol macht sich deutlich wärmend bemerkbar, verebbt gerade noch bevor er unangenehm wird.

Der Abgang fällt enttäuschenderweise recht kurz aus. Leicht süß, Eichenholz, Bitterkeit, herbe Note, die mit viel Wohlwollen in dunkle Schokolade ausklingt

Kommentar:
Die Verkostungsnotizen beziehen sich auf eine frisch geöffnete Flasche von (Abfüllung 2023). Vielleicht liegt es daran, ich werde dem Uigedail noch etwas Zeit und Luft geben, dann bekommt er eine zweite Chance.
Einstweilen muss ich gestehen bin ich sehr enttäuscht.
