Type Single Malt Whisky
Aroma The sherry casks give this old malt a fruity aroma of plums and berries. In addition, caramel aromas combine with delicate smoke. The long maturation time of the sherry and ex-bourbon casks used leads to very complex aromas.
Taste This malt is smooth and full on the tongue. Then light smoke appears, which develops in the direction of strong, aromatic oils.
Finish The finish is strong, long and peppery-spicy! Just as we know it from the Talisker distillery. In addition, leather, oak and marine aromas appear.

Product description
The 18-year-old Talisker is clearly more mature but not softer than the 10-year-old. Sweet dried fruits determine the strong aroma. Then the smoke sets in and takes us to the Isle of Skye. The spicy finish contains the distillery's 'chilli catch'.

Kommentar: rauchige dann malzige Süsse übergehend in dunkle Früchte und angenehmer Schärfe. Wunderbar komplex. Nach dem 10jährigen und dem Port Rouge nochmals eine schöne Steigerung.

Geschmack: deutlich Meersalz, Rauch, Würze

Abgang: viel Rauch, Jod, viel Salz, lang anhaltend, Salz und Rauch bleiben am Gaumen

90/100 Ein wundervoller Whisky, fast ohne Abstriche. Bei diesem Talisker ist die Frucht und die Süße herausstechend.
Aroma: Rauch/Geräuchertes, Leder, Jod, Süße/Frucht, Margarine
Geschmack: rauchig, etwas ölig, würzig, Lakritz; in Verdünnung deutlicher Eiche und süßer
