The Islay Storm Single Malt comes from an undisclosed distillery on the 'Queen of the Hebrides'. The malt was first released in 2005 by the Scottish company CS James & Sons. After a re-release, Islay Storm now appears in a new design representing the stormy maritime Single Malt.

    Kommentar: Der Rauch ist dominant, aber lässt den anderen Aromen noch genug Platz zur Entfaltung. In sich stimmig, wenn auch ohne allzuviel Tiefgang, was bei dem günstigen Preis jetzt auch nicht zu erwarten war.
    Von der Form des Kartons und der Flasche könnte man auch auf einen Kilchoman tippen, die haben zufälligerweise die gleiche Größe ;-)
