Product description
The smoky Ledaig Single Malt comes from the traditional Tobermory Distillery on the Scottish Isle of Mull and is part of the Ledaig brand. The name Ledaig is derived from Gaelic and is often translated as "safe harbour", which emphasises the maritime character of this whisky. Although the style is strongly reminiscent of classic Islay whiskies, this malt does not actually come from the island of Islay, but from the Inner Hebrides. On the palate, Ledaig is a powerfully smoky and complexly structured Single Malt with distinct peat flavours accompanied by spicy and slightly maritime notes. The profile is complemented by fine fruitiness and a harmonious balance between smoke, sweetness and a subtle mineral note. Overall, this whisky is intense, full of character and has a long-lasting, distinctive finish, making it particularly interesting for lovers of powerful, smoky malt whiskies.
