Aroma Vanilla combined with exotic fruits and a distant hint of cocoa. Complex and harmonious.
Taste A hint of cinnamon subtly rounds off the gentle body. The typical Arran citrus aromas complement the subtle oak.

The 10-year-old Arran is the distillery's standard bottling, bottled for the first time in 2006. In the meantime, it is no longer bottled from the first year's casks. These are put aside for older bottlings.

The Distillery:

The Lochranza distillery is located on the Isle of Arran, after which it was initially named. In 2019, Lagg, the second distillery on the island, opened. As a result, Arran renamed itself Lochranza to better distinguish it. However, the Single Malt Whisky is still available under the Arran brand. read more

    Leider ein schwächeres Batch erwischt. War recht herb mit a. e. unreifen hellen Früchten. Keine wirkliche Süße. Aber Alkohol gut eingebunden, keinerlei Schärfe.
    Aber aus Erfahrung normalerweiße ein toller fruchtiger, manchmal sogar tropischer Whisky, der reifer als seine 10 Jahre wirkt.
