Variety Single malt whisky
Aroma Slightly sweet and smoky, with honey, grilled lemon, sea salt and, after a little time in the glass, dried fruit, vanilla and orange chocolate. Leather and sandalwood notes follow towards the end.
Taste Smoky and spicy, with ginger, aniseed and vanilla with dried fruit. Hints of peppermint sweets in the background.
Finish Again sweet smoke with balanced oak bitterness, pepper and citrus fruits. A mix of fruity sweetness, vanilla and hints of peppermint with sandalwood lingers for a long time.

Product description
Mackmyra Vision is a peated single malt from Sweden that was created for the 25th anniversary of the distillery in the 1999 25th Anniversary Edition series. Vision is a tribute to Bo Söderborg, who has worked at Mackmyra since 2003. The second of a total of four anniversary bottlings matured in a combination of Swedish oak, ex-bourbon and Pedro Ximenéz sherry casks.

Aroma: Leicht süß und rauchig, mit Honig, gegrillter Zitrone, Meersalz und nach etwas Zeit im Glas Trockenfrüchte, Vanille und Orangenschokolade. Zum Ende hin folgen Leder und Sandelholznoten.

Geschmack: Rauchig und würzig, dazu Ingwer, Anis und Vanille mit Trockenfrüchten. Im Hintergrund Akzente von Pfefferminzbonbons.

Abgang: Erneut süßer Rauch mit ausbalancierter Eichenbitterkeit, Pfeffer und Zirtusfrüchten. Ein Mix aus fruchtiger Süße, Vanille und Anklängen von Pfefferminz mit Sandelholz hält lange an.
