The Scottish Bowmore distillery is located on the idyllic island of Islay (pronounced 'Aila'), which is part of the Inner Hebrides. Bowmore was founded in the 18th century, making it one of Scotland's oldest distilleries. read more

gut eingebundener Rauch, getrocknete Früchte

Geschmack:

angenehme Rauchnoten, schön eingebunden durch Frucht und Süße, in Hintergrund dezente Zitrusnoten

nach Orange und etwas Zimt

Abgang: langanhaltend wärmend, typischer Bowmore-Vertreter, angenehmer Rauch und trockene Sherryfruchtnoten, teilweise etwas Bitterschokolade

Kommentar: sehr schöner Bowmore, preislich erschwinglich, trotz nur 40 Vol % ein Whisky mit Charakter und Aussage

Aroma: warmer Lagerfeuerrauch unterlegt von vielschichtiger saftiger Süße.

Geschmack: dunkle Fruchtigkeit besteht leicht, etwas wärmende Sherry-„Dumpfheit“ und schön eingebundener sanfter Rauch vom Lagerfeuer-Charakter. Leichte Salzigkeit.

Abgang: wärmend und beglückend

Kommentar: der war zu schnell leer auf der Party. Ein Genuss!
