Product description

This Bowmore was distilled in 1969 and then matured for over 50 years in bourbon casks and hogsheads. The Single Malt slumbered in the warehouses of the Islay distillery for a good half a century before being bottled at cask strength.

The Scottish Bowmore distillery is located on the idyllic island of Islay (pronounced 'Aila'), which is part of the Inner Hebrides. Bowmore was founded in the 18th century, making it one of Scotland's oldest distilleries. read more
