Scapa Glansa is the first slightly smoky bottling. For this, the malt was post-matured in casks that previously contained smoky whisky. There are only a few bottlings from the Scapa distillery.

    Aroma: Sehr intensive Fruchtnote, etwas Vanille mit Heidekraut und Honig. Später kommt ein wenig Rauch hinzu.

    Geschmack: Sehr viele Früchte die sich ausgewogen ergänzen, Heidehonig mit etwas Karamell. Ein sehr voller Fruchtgeschmack.

    Abgang: Der kräftige Fruchtgeschmack mit dem Heidehonig wirkt lange nach und macht Lust auf mehr. Eine leicht Rauchnote zeigt sich im Glas.

    Kommentar: Die ausgewogene Fruchtnote mit dem Geschmack von Heidehonig find ich toll. Mal was anderes als Sherry oder Port Einflüsse. Die leichte Rauchnote ist schwer erkennbar. Sehr süffig sehr zu empfehlen.
