The Ukiyo Yuzu Citrus Gin is made from locally grown barley and processed into a traditional Shōchū rice spirit. The Shōchū is distilled with juniper, yuzu, regional citrus fruits and botanicals. Yuzu is still grown and harvested in the old tradition, as it was 1500 years ago. The Taste of the fruit is tart and smells similar to a lemon or grapefruit with a hint of tangerine.
