For this Springbank, the malt is kilned for 6 hours over a peat fire and 24 hours over hot air. The whisky is then distilled two and a half times. For this, double and triple distilled raw whisky is mixed together.

Aroma: Süße, helle Früchte, Rauch habe ich nicht bemerkt
Geschmack: beginnt süß, dann kommt eine heftige jedoch angenehme Würze und eine Eichennote.
Abgang: trocken, minimaler Rauch
Kommentar: mein erster Springbank, gekauft 2021 für 50 €, da war die Welt noch i.O. Ist jedoch ein Spitzenwhisky.
Geschmack: beginnt süß, dann kommt eine heftige jedoch angenehme Würze und eine Eichennote.
