Remedy originated during Prohibition in the United States of America. During this time, rum was sold in pharmacies under medical pretexts. Rums from Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and the Dominican Republic form the basis for the spiced rum spirit. It is refined with an essence of pineapple. This set also includes two 50 ml miniatures of Remedy Elixir, which is made from rum from Panama that has been aged in oak barrels for up to seven years, and a miniature of Remedy Pineapple, which is refined with pineapple essence.
