Mackmyra Identitet is matured in many different casks, all of which are either peated or heavily peated. The Swedish smoke recipe contains regional peat soil and juniper. The Single Malt is a tribute to the distillery character of Mackmyra.

Aroma: Eine sanfte und tiefe Note von Torf es folgen lebhafte Zitrusnoten von Orange, süße Vanille und ein subtiler nussiger Unterton.
Geschmack: Wärmend und vollmundig mit Torfrauch und ausgeprägter Süße sowie milder Bitterkeit, dazu Aromen von Vanille-Toffee, brauner Zucker und Cashewnüsse. Zum Ende hin Zitrone, Orange und Ingwer.
Abgang: Süß, zitrusartig und lang mit sanften Torfrauchnoten. Facetten von Eiche und ein Hauch von dunkler Schokolade folgen nach.
