Only blue Weber agaves from the distillery's own fields in Jalisco are used for El Mayor Extra Añejo Tequila. Maturing for at least 3.5 years in port wine barrels from Portugal gives the double-distilled tequila subtle notes of cinnamon, chocolate and fruit as well as its golden yellow colour.
