Beschrijving van het product
A lot has happened at the Loch Lomond distillery since the change of ownership in 2014. Straight neck pot stills and swan neck pot stills are used for distillation. The 18-year-old Single Malt is now bottled with a higher alcohol content and is not chill-filtered. This allows the natural sweet oak character to be fully preserved. Three types of American oak casks were used for the maturation. These include Bourbon, refill and recharred casks from Loch Lomond's own cooperage.

Loch Lomond is located in the Scottish town of Alexandria, directly on the lake of the same name. Hardly any other distillery in Scotland deserves the title 'unique' as much as Loch Lomond. Kommentar: Viel Holz, viel Eiche, man merkt, dass es sich um einen älteren Whisky handelt. Rauch ist minimal, aber vorhanden. Insgesamt für einen 18er etwas wenig komplex. Das PLV ist gut.
