Beschrijving van het product
A lot has happened at the Loch Lomond distillery since the change of ownership in 2014. Straight neck pot stills and swan neck pot stills are used for distillation. The 18-year-old Single Malt is now bottled with a higher alcohol content and is not chill-filtered. This allows the natural sweet oak character to be fully preserved. Three types of American oak casks were used for the maturation. These include Bourbon, refill and recharred casks from Loch Lomond's own cooperage.

Bratapfel Explosion. Mehr Advent geht nicht, schmeckt aber das ganze Jahr.
Der Rauch legt sich sanft um die warmen Apfelnoten und lässt die Gewürze nach vorne kommen. Große Aromenvielfalt.
Ich habe ihn sehr gerne im Wechsel mit dem Longmorn 18 yo (Secret Speyside) getrunken (Birnenkompott mit Eichenwürze).
