The molasses rum Bristol Reserve Rum of Haiti from the Société du Rhum is distilled in the Double Pot Still process and then shipped to England where it matures for about 18 years in American oak barrels. The cool and moist storage of the barrels gives the rum special aromas of sweetness and fruit, which combine with wood notes.
