Beschrijving van het product

This Ardbeg single malt whisky matured for 21 long years in a selected refill Oloroso sherry butt. The result is a unique single malt that celebrates and honours the traditions of Ardbeg. This bottling from the limited Private Single Cask Series was produced on 23 May 2000 and matured until 1 March 2022 in the butt selected by Dr Bill Lumsden. Bottled at cask strength without the addition of colour and without chill-filtering, all bottles are numbered by hand and personally signed by Dr Bill.

Aroma: Dunkle Schokolade mit Karamell und Toffee, dazu Akzente von geräucherter Orangenschale, Trockenfrüchten und Torfrauch.

Geschmack: Intensiv und voluminös mit einer ausgezeichneten Balance von Süße, roten Früchten und Rauch. Zum Ende hin dezent würzig.
