Product description
The Single Malt from West Cork was distilled three times from malted barley. The company relies heavily on manual labour in the production of its whiskey: the team built most of the equipment for mashing, fermenting and distilling itself. It is the only distillery on the Emerald Isle that uses only home-malted grain for its whiskey. First fill Bourbon casks were used for the slow maturation.

The West Cork Distillery is located, as the name suggests, in the west of Cork in Ireland. In 2003, the distillery was established by three childhood friends without the prospect of much success. But the distillery turned out better than expected: today, more than 100 people, most of them from Cork, work there to produce and market Whiskeys, Gins and Vodka.

Geschmack: Getreide mit malziger Süße, Nußnoten und hellen Früchten.
