Product description
The Glen Scotia Signature Series No. 1 is a tribute to the beginnings of the Campbeltown distillery. The Single Malt was matured entirely in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and offers the maritime flavours with tropical fruit notes for which the distillery has been known since 1832. The bottling is one of Glen Scotia Master Distiller Iain McAlister's favourites and was created exclusively for the German market.

Kommentar: Bei dieser Abfüllung bin ich leider etwas enttäuscht von Glen Scotia. Da bin ich vom 15jährigen, dem Victoriana und der 2023 Clubflasche viel besseres von Glen Scotia gewohnt. Neben den Vanille-Aromen bleibt für mich leider wenig Raum für andere Aromen. Dadurch wirkt er doch etwas flach und wenig komplex. Als Einsteigerwhisky ist er gut geeignet, da er sehr sanft ist und den Trinker nicht sehr fordert.
