Product description
The Slyrs Marsala Cask Finish matured for a total of 12 years. Firstly in valuable American white oak barrels and then in special Marsala wine barrels from Sicily. Marsala is a liqueur wine that takes its name from the Sicilian harbour town of Marsala. The strictly limited special edition comes with an elegant wooden box made from high-quality oak. In addition to the 0.7 litre bottle, it also contains a 0.05 litre tasting bottle.

The Distillery: Slyrs
Located at the Schliersee lake, Slyrs Distillery ranks among the best-known whisky distilleries in Germany. Its name is derived from the old name of the region. The first Whisky was already distilled on the stills of the traditional Lantenhammer distillery in 1999, but in 2007 Slyrs Whisky found its home in the newly erected Slyrs Distillery in Neuhaus.

Aroma: Fruchtig und lieblich mit Noten von Aprikosen, Vanille und Karamell, dazu ein Hauch von roten Beeren und Zimt.
Geschmack: Reife Pfirsiche mit getrockneten Früchten und Vanille werden durch dunkles Karamell, ausgewogene Eichenholzwürze und leichte Noten von gerösteten Mandeln ergänzt.
Abgang: Sanft, ausgewogen und wärmend mit einer fruchtigen Süße, subtile Anklänge von Schokolade und roten Beeren verweilen an Zunge und Gaumen.
