Slyrs Classic is the successor and further development of the well-known 3-year-old single malt from the distillery at Schliersee. The distillery has now gone one step further and dispensed with the need to specify the vintage. This means that 4 to 6-year-old malts can be blended together in the Classic. This makes the bottling older, even if it is not stated on the label. It has also been given a new bottle design. A glass is included in the elegant gift box for tasting.

The Distillery: Slyrs
Located at the Schliersee lake, Slyrs Distillery ranks among the best-known whisky distilleries in Germany. Its name is derived from the old name of the region. The first Whisky was already distilled on the stills of the traditional Lantenhammer distillery in 1999, but in 2007 Slyrs Whisky found its home in the newly erected Slyrs Distillery in Neuhaus.

Kommentar: Für mich ein angenehm weich zu trinkender und gleichzeitig geschmacksintensiver Whisky. Statt im Abgang zu brennen verbreitet der Slyrs Classic eine malzige Süße in Mund und Rachen, wie nach einem Dessert.
