Type Single Malt Whisky
Aroma Damp smoke, peat smoke and seaweed. Sweet notes of syrup, burnt sugar and sherry follow.
Taste Very smoky with dates, figs, a hint of cloves and vanilla.
Finish Long and persistently smoky. Accompanied by chocolate, sweet rum sultana ice cream and burnt caramel.

Geschmack: Bonfire Smoke Kiwi

Abgang: durch den hohen Alkoholgehalt beachtlich, aber bitte nicht verdünnen, dann merkt man die Mickrigkeit.

Kommentar: dürftig. Hab ich zusammen mit einer halben Flasche Sherry in mein kleines Whiskyfass gefüllt, für schlechte Zeiten.

Kommentar: Das Sherry Aroma ist dominater als der Rauch. Riecht nach Rosinen und Dörr-Obst. Der Rauch kommt dezent. Im Geschmack Süße, etwas Rauch und Schärfe. Trockener Abgang. Mit 54% habe ich ein wenig Wasser hinzugefügt. Preis Leistung gut

Kommentar: Dieser Schottland-Nektar kommt mit erfrischenden 54,1% um die Ecke. Das lässt Spielraum für etwas Verdünnung. Mir schmeckt er aber pur am Besten. Er kommt fulminant mit Schärfe und Rauch an, und im Abgang setzen sich mehr und mehr süße Akzente durch. Er hat etwas von flüssiger Chilli-Schokolade...
