Product description
The sugar cane for Neisson Le Rhum Blanc is grown in the northern Caribbean terroir of Martinique, where the soils are very challenging and rather poorly developed. The volcanic pumice from Mount Pelée has a sandy clay structure, which makes cultivation difficult. The strong sunlight and low rainfall with a very high daily temperature fluctuation make the conditions even more difficult. The sugar cane is then distilled on column stills, gradually reducing the white rum to 52.5 % vol. before maturing for at least three months in stainless steel tanks, which gives it a fine and delicate sweetness with floral aromas and a hint of liquorice.
