The Black Sheriff from the Habitation Saint-Etienne distillery, which is based in Martinique, is a cuvee of young rums from the distillery which, after distillation, are matured for three to four years in extra intensively toasted ex-Bourbon barrels from Kentucky, USA.

The Distillery:
The Habitation Saint-Etienne (HSE) Rum distillery was built on the site of the former La Maugée sugar factory in the north-west of the island of Martinique near Gros-Morne. HSE no longer distils its own Rum, this is done by its sister distillery Le Simon. However, storage and bottling of the Rhums Agricoles are still carried out on site.

Geschmack: Leicht süße Noten gepaart mit einer angenehm holzigen Würze. Fruchtig und kräftig mit Akzenten von Vanille, die sich mit frischen Facetten von Zuckerrohr verbindet.
