Aroma Soft and fruity-sweet with light grapes, lychee, green apples, pears and a hint of orange peel. In the background, buttery pastry as well as light aromas from the wine barrels.
Taste Creamy and soft with sweet toffee. More intense notes of violets, red apples and pears and oak follow.
Finish Pure and sweet with apples and a slight hint of pepper.

This Cardhu from Speyside was bottled for the Special Releases 2021. Under the motto 'Legends Untold', this year's bottlings each represent a legend surrounding their distillery. The Cardhu depicts the mysterious tree with its red blossoms, which, according to legend, gave off such enticing honey and spice scents that the small distillery settled there.

Kommentar: Ein guter Whisky mit angenehmer Süße und Früchten. Etwas alkoholisch, aber da Fassstärke und erst 14 Jahre alt ist es halt so. Habe trotzdem nicht verdünnt, tut ihm nicht gut.
Vom Weinfass konnte man nichts merken.
