Cardhu hat mich mit seiner Standard Range (12/15/18) nirgends enttäuscht, aber dieser 18 y ist der beste. Man riecht sofort dass man einen alten, gesetzten, weichen Whisky vor sich hat, wobei er von Nase über Geschmack zum Abgang immer deutlicher zeigt dass er volljährig ist, im Abgang wandelt sich Milchschokolade in Zartbitter, es kommt Kaffee und kräftige Eiche hinzu. Finde die 40% vol. persönlich nicht zu wenig bei diesem Whisky. Und 18 y für immer noch deutlich unter 100 € ist aktuell auch preislich lobenswert. Toller runder und merklich alter Single Malt, 5 Sterne von mir…
