The label on this special bottle breaks new ground and features a comic-style label. The Big Peat won the title of "Best Blended Malt Scotch Whisky" at the World Whiskies Awards 2010.

Aroma: Rauch, feinere medizinische Noten, Meeresbriese.

Geschmack: Schmeichelnde Süße und Malzigkeit bilden das Auge des Sturms in komplexen Lagen von starkem aber ausgeglichenem Rauch.

Abgang: Der Rauch setzt sich durch, angenehm kraftvoll und lang.

Kommentar: Kraftvoller als Bowmore und Coal Ila dominiert Ardbeg, dazu homöopathische Dosen Port Ellen, ergeben eine traumhafte Mischung! Ein must-have Vatted Malt für Islay Freunde. Genial. Douglas Laings Neunte Symphony.Medicinal Smoke Seaweed Sweet Malt Iodine

Kommentar: Ist etwas ganz Besonderes, daher Geschmacksache. Mich persönlich überzeugt der Whisky durch seinen intensiven Torf- und Rauchgeschmack. Erinnert mich irgendwie an einen schönen Abend am Lagerfeuer.
