Geschmack: ölig, süßlich, leicht malzig, rund und eher leicht. Fruchtig.
Abgang: Lang, süßlich nach Getreide. Fruchtig
Kommentar: Sehr angenehm zu genießen. Ausgezeichneter Trinkfluss.

In der Nase zeigt sich der Auchroisk 10 Jahre fruchtig und süß mit einer leichten Malzigkeit. Zitrusfrüchte prägen den ersten Eindruck, begleitet von Milchschokolade sowie nussigen Noten, die an Mandeln erinnern. Eiche steht zunächst nicht im Vordergrund, stattdessen zeigt sich eine dezente, allgemeine Würzigkeit.
Am Gaumen überzeugt der Whisky mit einem öligen, weichen Mundgefühl. Die anfängliche Süße wirkt schmiegsam und angenehm, bevor sich eine klare Eichenwürze entwickelt. Auch beim zweiten Schluck bleibt das Profil konstant: ölig, weich und würzig, ohne größere Veränderungen.
Der Abgang ist kurz bis mittellang, würzig und zunehmend trocken. Er fällt leicht und unaufdringlich aus und verleitet gerade durch seine Zurückhaltung dazu, zum nächsten Schluck zu greifen.
