The Singleton of Dufftown 17 was matured 100% in American oak refill hogsheads to represent the fresh, spring-like nature of the Single Malt. The addition of 'The Singleton' is intended to emphasise the uniqueness of Dufftown malts. This year's Special Releases 2020 by Diageo are themed 'Rare by Nature'.

Aroma: Riecht erstaunlich jung bzw. sehr wenig aktives Holz bzw. fast nur Vanille aus dem Holz, der „Brennereicharakter“ kommt schön durch, mal ein ganz anderer Dufftown.
Geschmack: Genau was die Aromen versprechen und für mich leckerer verdünnt als pur.
Abgang: Mittellang, aber etwas dünner als erwartet
