Product description
The Japanese Mars Shinshu distillery uses different types of grain for its spirits, from non-smoky to very smoky. The range includes mainly younger Single and Blended Malts, as the distillery's Pot Stills were idle from 1992 to 2011 due to the whisky crisis in Japan. The Mars Komagatake - Shinshu Single Malt is one of the distillery's special bottlings and was matured in Bourbon, sherry and port casks. The whisky was neither coloured nor chill-filtered and bottled at 50% vol.
