Beschrijving van het product
The Deveron is produced at the Macduff distillery. The Single Malt from Macduff is characterised by its Taste of baked apples with maritime accents. This individual flavour is said to be created by the special condensers. Vertical condensers are used for the wash stills and horizontal condensers for the spirit stills. The Deveron Range now appears in a new design, with unchanged character.

Macduff is one of the newer distilleries in Speyside, having been founded in 1958. Morty Dyke, George Crawford, James Stirret, and Brodie Hepburn founded the distillery. Together, they formed Macduff Distilleries Ltd. Construction of the distillery was completed in 1960, and the first cask filling occurred in June the same year. lees meer

    Aroma: Ziemlich massive grüne Äpfel in der Nase, dann übergehend zu Bratäpfel, dann Vanille aufkommend, was leicht Florales, und ein Hauch von Malz.

    Geschmack: Im Mund auch wieder zuerst die Äpfel, dann ziemlich intensives Getreide, und eine nachklingende Zitrusnote.

    Abgang: Nicht zu intensiver Abgang, dominiert durch die Zitronennote.

    Kommentar: Gefälliger, relativ einfacher Standard-Whisky.
