Guatemalan molasses forms the basis for the Privateer Letter of Marque - Single Cask #P574 rum. The rum is double distilled in the Pot Still and then matured for four years and four months in the maritime climate of Massachusetts in new American oak barrels. The end result is a tribute to the American privateers who played a crucial role in defeating a seemingly insurmountable enemy in the 18th century. Their courage and ingenuity helped to shape the outcome of the American War of Independence.

Geschmack: Zunächst trocken und würzig ist eine alkoholische Note zwar präsent, die Mitte ist dennoch von dunklen roten Früchten geprägt. Nuancen von Vanille und Kokosnuss folgen nach.
Abgang: Lang und angenehm mit Kokosnuss- und Schokoladennoten.
