Lussa Gin is produced in small batches by a small team on the island of Jura. The three makers of the gin harvest all their required botanicals on the island or the surrounding coast. Juniper is currently plagued by disease in Scotland, so they grow the shrubs extensively on the Isle of Jura. Furthermore, the Lussa Gin contains lemon thyme and coriander, which are specially cultivated, as well as lemon, elder and rose blossoms. In addition, there is goutweed from the Jura bogs, water mint and even the seaweed Ulva, which is also known as 'sea lettuce'.

    Geschmack: würzigeHerbs Citrus Eine süße Fruchtigkeit kontrastiert sehr schön mit der nicht zu heftigen Würze.

    Aroma: Herbs Heather Citrus Heidekrautlastig, hintergründig Zitrus.

    Geschmack: Herbs Citrus Im Geschmack guter Mix aus Zitrus und Kräutern, trinkt sich mild und angenehm.

    Abgang: Citrus Spices Am Ende verbleiben vor allem deutliche Zitrusfrüchte und würzige Noten, sehr angenehm.

    Kommentar: gut gemachter Gin, auch wenn das mit den kräuterigen Momenten nicht ganz meinen Geschmack trifft. Auch mit Tonic Water kommen die oben beschriebene Noten immer noch deutlich durch.
